One of the altar flower arrangements this week is in honor of Caitlyn Nolff's 7th birthday.

The other altar arrangement is in honor of Ralph Gilbertson's birthday.

The white poinsettias in the chancel are given in loving memory of our dear friend, Linda Morr, by Vicky and Jerry Johnson and Fran and Jack Rayce.

Dr. Tracy is leading an Advent study on Wednesdays at 10:00am in the Library. The study, Finding Bethlehem in the Midst of Bedlam, will end on December 19th. Please plan to join us!

This Sunday, December 16th,  we will have our Children's Christmas Pageant at 11:00am! Come and watch this wonderful play that the children of St. Paul's have been working hard on. We will have a time of fellowship following the service in the Fellowship hall.

Please plan to join us on Christmas Eve! There will be two candlelight services with Communion served at both. 5:30pm will be the family oriented service and 11:00pm will be the traditional service with the chancel choir.

St. Paul’s has adopted 10 families for the 2018 holidays. Please see the family wish lists on the bulletin board in the foyer. Be sure that gifts, home supplies, and food are at the church by 11:00am on Sunday, December 23rd as UMYF will deliver the gifts that day.

A new quilts is up for Mary Kay Hamilton. Help us at St. Paul's to continue to send our love and share our faith in the Lord's power to comfort, strengthen and heal by tying knots and saying prayers for Mary Kay and the others you know who have quilts being prepared.

We are in need of a volunteer to schedule our acolytes, and do a once-a-year training session with them. If you are interested, please contact the church office.

The Worship Committee is looking for those who are interested in serving Communion on Communion Sundays, usually the first Sunday of the month. If you feel this special calling or would like more information, please contact the church office or Colleen Baker.

Please be sure to stop by the Monroe County Museum to enjoy the annual Christmas Tree Festival and especially to appreciate the tree decorated by the ladies of Eve Circle, as a gift to the community. It can be found on the second floor of the museum. For this year's theme, the ladies chose "Make new friends, but keep the old; one is silver, the other is gold". A smaller version of thetree is in the Fellowship Hall at St. Paul's. thanks to Jeanette Fedosky and Cathy Tyner for leading this project.

UMYF is our junior and senior high Youth Group. We meet weekly on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm. We have two special events coming up this month: 1) Christmas Caroling and Christmas party on Sunday, December 16th starting at 6:00pm. 2) Deliver Christmas gifts to families at 11:00am on December 23rd.
