Serving the Living Lord....Past, Present and Future

Mission and Vision

Our Mission is to make more and better followers of Jesus in our community and beyond by...

  • reaching unchurched people with a relevant style of ministry
  • building up believers to become mature and reproducing Christians
  • serving people in need

so that God is glorified. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our Vision is to be a transformed and growing body of Spirit-empowered, fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ that is making a vital impact with the gospel on our community and the world.

This includes...

  • A vision of a church where the seeking, the hurting, and the sick find love, forgiveness, healing, and power for living by encountering Jesus and His people.
  • A vision of worshiping and learning together in weekend services that are so bursting with God's love, awesomeness, and power that people's lives are dramatically transformed. Services that will attract thousands of people to our simple yet beautiful facilities designed to minister to their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs.
  • A vision of equipping and developing people to live the Christian life victoriously and reproductively through Bible classes, small groups, mentoring, and meaningful service.
  • A vision of developing an ever-expanding core of Godly leaders (for the home, community, and church) who reproduce themselves through mentoring others.
  • A vision of sharing the love and good news of Jesus Christ with countless thousands of friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers in our community and sending out career missionaries to do the same throughout the world.
  • A vision of a church that soars to her God-given potential by seeking and exercising all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (according to the guidelines of Scripture) so that every believer uses his/her gifts and talents in meaningful service.
  • A vision of prayer warriors who are organized and mobilized to intercede and believe God continually for the dramatic spiritual awakening of our community, our nation, and our world.
